Renee graduated from the Eastern Washington University, USA with a Bachelor in Business Administration. She has more than 10 years’ experience in education-related businesses. A dedicated educator, she has coached hundreds of students in purpose-driven presentation skills. This gives Prime International a unique edge in its learning culture – a special focus on leadership & public speaking skills that enables students to transform their outlook and gain confidence, accelerate their learning and interpret coursework and expectations more efficiently.
chai yoon heng
Chai Yoon Heng graduated with a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in Accounting from the University of Malaya. He has been consistently the top student in his class from primary school up to university. He knows what it takes to bring out the best in his students. Chai has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate accounting and management, and is passionate about teaching and developing youth, through the IGCSE programmes offered at Prime International. In the same way that accounting and finance build one concept on another, a student’s understanding of one concept opens the door to understanding others. He takes great satisfaction in helping young adults gain conceptual understanding, to make sense of it in the real world.
Tay Vui Kit
Shirnie Chan holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a Minor in Business Administration, from the University of London. A motivator with a positive attitude, she worked as a graduate teaching assistant at the College of London, and as a Senior Systems Analyst, Project Manager, Software Trainer and Marketing Manager for multinational organisations in the UK, Hong Kong, Australia and Malaysia. Currently, Shirnie teaches Biology and Combined Science.
Wong Chien Wen
Nicholas Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Accounting from the University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kampar. He teaches Mathematics, Additional Mathematics and Chemistry. In addition, he coaches teenagers in Physical Education. He strategies on what works best for each student’s learning style.
Tay Vui Kit is a social entrepreneur and 2-time podium finisher at the Toastmasters’ national level public speaking competition in 2016 and 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Chemistry from the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kampar. He is a certified Design Thinking Practitioner with the Design Thinking Association of Malaysia (DTAM). As a design thinking coach, he has coached the Malaysian Public Services officers (PTD), the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), and many social entrepreneurs, to innovate through design thinking. He is also a trainer for public speaking at the Gavel Club of CA Learning Academy. As a trainer, he has trained teenagers and adults up to corporate senior managers, to communicate effectively.
Wong Chien Wen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English Education from the University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kampar, Perak. She is a dedicated educator, committed to developing among students’, social skills and academic potential. Her flexible teaching style is suitable for primary level subjects as well as English language proficiency.
ANITHA VARRUTHINEE SUPPIAH
Anitha holds a Bachelor of Education (TESL) awarded by the Open University Malaysia. She has 9 years teaching experience with primary level IGCSE students in English Language. At Prime International, she teaches English as First language to Years 1-6. Prior to a career in education, she worked in the banking industry for a year. She strongly believes in her strength as a teacher.
Joel Dinesh completed a BA in Education at the University of Roehampton, London, and then pursued a Masters in Science for Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). He is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Nottingham, Malaysia. His passion in literacy has contributed to his success in the teaching of English for the past 10 years.
Charine Cham has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Biomedical Science, from the University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London. With 7 years of teaching experience in the Sciences, she has successfully used her leadership skills in grooming mainly secondary students towards academic achievement and social skills.
CHAN PANG CHIN
Chan Pang Chin had won the prestigious Asean Scholarship to pursue his A Levels at the renowned National Junior College of Singapore. His years of learning and teaching, and his research experience gained during his Master of Education, enables him to develop his own unique and effective teaching methods for both mathematics and physics. Mr Chan has held various positions including Head of Physics and Head of A Levels with various institutions of private education. Having marked examination questions with a major overseas examination board, Mr Chan has the knack for spotting questions for major examinations.
Grace Tan holds an LLB (Hons) London Degree and CLP (Hons) Malaysia. She is a senior partner of an established legal firm in Kuala Lumpur. Her expertise is in personal development, coaching, mentoring, leadership and team building training for all levels of employees in various organizations. Her high level energy and results-driven approaches have always been her strength in conducting her training, seminars, workshops and emcee programs.
